About SoldierSongs and Voices:

Voices of a Grateful Nation (Voices) is a nonprofit organization created in 2008 by a group of Texans that had the conviction to help lend a hand to Veterans coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan. The founders were musicians, music lovers and music industry executives that wanted to welcome home the men and women that had served our nation. Our focus is on returning veterans, and specifically to those who have suffered Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, (PTSD). By utilizing music, popular culture and the compassionate spirit of musicians and our supporters, the Voices music series were created to raise awareness and funding to provide veterans with music instruments and lessons for free.

Soldier Songs exists to serve our nations military heroes with FREE music lessons, instruments when necessary, and a means of creative expression. We are musicians, grateful to the men and women of our armed services for the freedoms we enjoy as a result of their sacrifice. We proudly offer Veterans and musicians alike an opportunity to share with each other the incredible powers of expression and camaraderie that only music offers. We owe them this at very least, for all they have already given us!

Workshops are held here at Sam's twice a month on Sunday afternoons.
