BRCC 2011 Church Picnic and Baptism
This year we’ll celebrate our 19th anniversary as a church at our annual picnic and baptism. It’s the one time every year when all the people in our 7 services on 2 campuses get together to celebrate BRCC style.
We’ve got lots of inflatables for the kids. We’ll have a giant jumbotron so everyone can see the baptisms. We’re also setting up a stage and sound system for live music. We’ll have 4 food vendors plus drinks and snacks available. So you can get your food at the park or bring your own. Here’s what you need to know:
Park in the BRCC parking lot and we’ll shuttle you over Sunday, June 5 from 3pm to 9pm (Baptisms at 6pm) What to bring: lawn chairs, sunscreen, swimsuit, pop-up canopies What not to bring: booze (sorry, it’s a park rule)
One of the most inspirational events in our year is our picnic baptisms. If you would like to get baptized at our picnic, you can simply register when you show up. We need you to register by 5pm so we can be ready for the 6pm baptism start.
If you have a child under 13 that would like to be baptized, we ask that you and your child attend a special seminar to help your child understand this powerful symbolic act. It will take place on Thursday, May 26 at 7pm in the Cross Street building. If you cannot make that seminar or if you have any questions regarding a child getting baptized, please contact our Elementary Ministry Leader, Amy Richardson at amy.richardson@brcc.net.
